Message Although I never thought about selling it while I was there, I did indeed take my Z to Europe when I was stationed there. All the comments posted thus far are right on. They don't want small little sports cars. Even though Europe gives us many of them, the Z is not really one of interest. I think that the only ones interested in the Z are the Brits, and they would prefer RHD.

But my experience from Belgium, is that a Z costs more to drive than it is worth. Between wheel tax, insurance and tag tax, the Z is a very, very, very expensive car to own. Not to mention the fact that maintenance is near impossible. Myself and a guy that I know started a Z club in Belgium and had a whopping 4 Zs from the whole country. I ended up becoming the one that did all their work for the 3 years I was there. No garage would ever touch their Zs and the dealer would charge them 10 times the norm because the car was so rare and unknown.

It is because the Z is so rare, that most normal people would pass it up in a heart-beat. Just too damn expensive over there.

Either take it and enjoy it or store it in the states. I took mine everywhere. Although buying gas without a coupon on those long trips really, really sucked. But still worth it in the end. Was a real treat having my Z over there.
